Saturday, I took Halley out to the Luxapalila creek to play while some of my students were doing a cleanup. I think she had a great time!

We went to a wedding in Arizona and didn't get back until late Sunday night, so I didn't have a meal plan last week. But this week, we're getting back on track. There's a hint of fall in the air when we walk the pup in the mornings.

Sunday:  Chicken and Sausage Jambalaya with Salad and Pretzel Rolls

We've got a busy week here, so I'm trying to keep dinners simple and quick. The weather has been cooler the last few days, so I've been thinking about heartier foods, too. I'm not sure that quick and hearty go together, but we'll see.

Sunday:  Grilled Pork Chops with Corn Pudding, Lima Beans, and Biscuits

Monday:  Cheese Ravioli with Spinach, Onions, & Mushrooms, Salad, and Garlic Bread

Tuesday:   Mississippi Pot Roast with Cheese Grits and Green Beans

We spent the weekend with my family, celebrating my dad's birthday and the first home game football weekend at Ole Miss. And it's Labor Day, so we got some extra time to just rest and relax!
