For the first time in a long time, we had a nice relaxing weekend at home. We went to the dog park, and Halley got to play chase with another dog. We went out to eat, ran errands, and took care of some of those things that just seem to get pushed back until "later." This week should be a regular week with no extra commitments, until Saturday, when I have to work... All in all, life is good.

This is probably the busiest week of the school year for me so far, and my birthday is Friday! I coach our National Science Bowl teams, and our regional competition is this Friday, so we're trying to get in some extra practices after school, which means extra hours at work this week.

Our science bowl regional is in two weeks, so we're practicing three times per week at 6:00 pm, which doesn't leave a lot of prep time or days for me to cook. We're trying to keep things simple for the next couple of weeks.
