Meal Plan Monday #249

The holidays are coming to an end. We had a lot of fun with friends and family. Of course, there's never enough time to do everything we'd like to do, but I feel relaxed and revived after spending time with loved ones.

We both had new year's day off, but different start dates. Darren started on Tuesday, so I tried something new. I started on Wednesday, so we reserved a simple supper for the first day we were both back at work.

Monday:  New Year's Day! Black-eyed Peas (Southern tradition)

Tuesday:  Short Ribs with Rutabaga and Carrots, Edam Cheese Grits, and Roasted Cabbage

Wednesday:  Grilled Chicken (#5) Caesar Salad

Thursday:  Pepperoni, Sausage, Peppers, and Mushroom Pizza

Friday:  Date Night! Darren's Pick!
