Wow! Meal Plan #500! I've been doing this for a long time. I started meal planning in 2008 or 2009, but I used to do it on paper. In June of 2012, I started posting the plans here. I don't post every week - if we know it's going to be a busy week with takeout and leftovers or if we're going on vacation or having visitors, I skip a week here and there. We can track a lot of living in these posts. I think it's fun to look back over old plans and see how our cooking and eating habits have changed over time. What recipes do we still enjoy? What have we shelved? Is there something we should bring back?
Sunday: Chicken Chowder with Corn and Potatoes and Sourdough Toast
Monday: Seared Fish and Rice Bowls with Carrots, Corn, Edamame, etc.
Tuesday: Chicken Chowder and Grilled Cheese Sandwiches
Wednesday: Loaded Baked Potatoes and Salad
Thursday: Sandwiches? Leftovers? Soup?
Friday: Breakfast for Supper! Biscuit Sandwiches with Hashbrowns
Saturday: Date Night! Darren's Pick
